KMT Trading Sdn. Bhd. was established in 1994 in Sri Kembangan, Selangor, Malaysia by Mr. Matthew Lee, the Managing Director of KMT Trading Sdn. Bhd. At that time, KMT Trading Sdn. Bhd only distributed the Nong Shim, which is the No.1 brand of instant noodles in Korea. Now, KMT Trading Sdn. Bhd. is involved in the distribution of more varieties of Korean foods products.
Besides instant noodles as its main food, KMT Trading also distributes other products such as beverages, snacks, seasonings, preserved vegetables, fruits and ice creams from well known brands in Korea such as Lotte, Kunyang, Yakult, Daesang, Hanil, Binggrae, CJ and Ottogi. KMT trading has also expanded its market throughout Malaysia from Klang Valley, to Penang (North Malaysia), Johor Bahru (South Malaysia) and also Sabah and Sarawak (East Malaysia).
KMT Trading Sdn. Bhd. is currently involved in the distribution of Korean food products to major retailers such as Jusco, Tesco, Giant and Carrefour and even in convenient stores such as 7-Eleven nationwide.
